Bio

Miguel Luciano’s work has been exhibited widely. He is the recipient of the Latinx Artist Fellowship, The Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Award, and the A Blade of Grass Fellowship for Socially Engaged Art. His work is featured in the permanent collections of The Whitney Museum of American Art, The National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, The National Museum of African American History and Culture, The Brooklyn Museum, El Museo del Barrio, and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico. Luciano is a faculty member at the School of Visual Arts and Yale University School of Art. He lives and works in East Harlem, New York.
